Refund Policy
We understand that waiting for a refund can be stressful, and we want to make the process as fast and transparent as possible. At Zahra Clothing, our refund policy is designed to be straightforward, fair, and genuinely customer-first. This page explains everything you need to know about when refunds are issued, how they are processed, and what timelines to expect.
When Are Refunds Issued?
A refund will be issued to you under the following circumstances. Your returned item has been received at our warehouse, inspected, and confirmed as eligible under our Return Policy. Your order was cancelled before it was dispatched from our warehouse and the payment had already been processed. You received an item that was damaged or defective upon arrival and you chose a refund rather than a replacement. You received an incorrect item and the correct item is not currently in stock for an exchange. Your order was confirmed as lost by the courier after investigation and you do not wish to receive a replacement shipment.
Refund Methods
All refunds at Zahra Clothing are issued back to your original payment method. If your original payment was made by credit or debit card, the refund will be credited back to the same card. If you paid via bank transfer, the refund will be processed to the bank account from which the original payment was made. Please ensure that your bank account details are accurate and up to date. If you paid using a digital wallet or mobile payment platform, the refund will be returned to the same platform account. As an alternative to a monetary refund, you may also choose to receive your refund in the form of store credit, which is applied instantly to your Zahra Clothing account and carries no expiry date.
Refund Processing Timelines
After your returned item passes inspection and the refund is approved, here is the timeline you can expect. For credit and debit card refunds, the processing time is between 5 and 10 business days from the date the refund is initiated. The actual appearance of the refund on your card statement may take a day or two beyond this, depending on your card issuer's own processing schedule. For bank transfer refunds, you can expect the funds to appear in your account within 3 to 7 business days. For store credit refunds, the credit is applied to your account instantly upon approval and can be used immediately on your next purchase.
Cancelled Order Refunds
If you cancel your order before it has been dispatched, a full refund will be issued immediately. For orders paid by card, the refund will typically appear on your statement within 3 to 7 business days. In many cases, if the payment was very recently made, our payment processor may be able to reverse the transaction before it fully settles, which can result in an even faster refund.
Partial Refunds
There are certain situations in which a partial refund may be applicable. If only a portion of your order is returned, the refund amount will reflect the value of the returned items only. If a promotional discount was applied to your original order, the refund amount may be adjusted proportionally to account for the discount received. If an item is returned in a condition that shows minor signs of use but is still deemed acceptable by our inspection team, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion. In all cases of partial refunds, we will communicate the exact refund amount to you clearly before processing.
What to Do If Your Refund Has Not Arrived
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, we recommend the following steps. First, check your bank account or card statement again — sometimes refunds post in a slightly different format or under a different transaction description. Second, contact your bank or card issuer directly, as banks sometimes hold funds for additional internal processing time. If you have done both of these things and your refund has still not appeared more than 15 business days after you received our refund confirmation email, please contact our customer support team with your order number and the date of your refund confirmation. We will investigate immediately and work to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
